The estate agent has been, the photos have been taken, normal service can resume in the Micski household. We certainly don’t live up to show home standard here and trying to keep the house clutter, crumb and toy free for just a couple of hours this morning was exhausting. I am refusing to think of the work prospective buyers coming to visit will create…At least the house will still be clean for Farmor’s (Lachlan’s Danish Gran) arrival tomorrow, she will forgive us the clutter I’m sure.

Lachlan and I were in need of some fresh air after the estate agents visit and the restricted morning. After a wrestle with trousers, shoes, jackets etc we managed 5 minutes of outside time, which consisted of an investigation of the neighbours wheelie bin, a game of chicken and ‘woofing’ at a dog, before he decided he’d had enough. This did mean we were in for the arrival of the postie with a much-awaited Amazon parcel. I’m dying to dive into the Steig Larsson’s 2nd offering in the Milennium Trilogy but it’ll have to wait until bed time and after having a peak at the diagrams in ‘Crochet Unravelled’ I’m waiting with that until Im in a more mathematical frame of mind 🙂 Lachlan received ‘Waiting for Baby’, a lovely illustrations only book on a new arrival. I’m hoping that early preparation will make the big change a bit easier, guess we’ll have to wait and see.

We’re now in desperate need of a mess, so are off to flour the kitchen while making some scones for lunch.

P.S. Guess what scone animals we made…scones
