Again here I am writing in a sleepy sunday morning state while Lachlan and his pappa are upstairs having a joint tooth brushing session.

Lachlan had a busy week with gaelic playgroup, baby sign class and our mums and baby group. The sun shone all week too so there were plenty of reasons to be out and about for walks, in the garden and trips to the park. The young man had his first sandpit experience and after eating his weight in sand and smearing large amounts of the stuff all over his face it was deemed a success 🙂 We’ve also had plenty of opportunities to make him wear his brand new ‘baby banz’ sunglasses and while he doesn’t appreciate getting them put on he realises their benefits once they are on and looks pretty cool too!

We had a lovely saturday morning, with a walk into town and a picnic in the park. Lachaln enjoyed adding grass to his cheese sandwich and bum shuffling many stains into his trousers. However, on the way home we were caught in what can only be described as a tropical downpour. The boy in his well protected buggy was fine but the other members of the family were rather damp on their arrival home.

We are very much looking forward to our trip to Hungary, we leave exactly one week today. Wine, food and great company here we come.
